Use this screen to modify pickup/delivery dates/times for multiple shipments with a single action. This screen is displayed when the Update Shipment Dates button is pressed on the List of Shipments screen in the Shipment Processing module.
Each of the four date fields and each of the four time fields are optional. However, user must provide at least one date or time value for at least one of the four shipment date/time values that can be controlled from this screen.
For each of the fields where a value is provided, the corresponding date and/or time will be updated for each selected shipment.
Updates to the Pickup From Date/Time and the Pickup To Date/Time for the shipment will be allowed for active (that is, not cancelled) shipments until one of the following has occurred:
Updates to the Delivery From Date/Time and the Delivery To Date/Time for the shipment will be allowed for active (that is, not cancelled) shipments until one of the following has occurred:
Each shipment will be updated only if all requested changes can be applied.
For example: If a request is received to apply updates to both the Pickup and Delivery Date/Time Ranges but the Pickup Date/Time Range is no longer eligible for updates, none of the dates/times for that shipment will be updated.
Update requests for each shipment will be handled separately. It would be possible for updates to be applied to some but not all of the selected shipments.
Note: Dates/times can also be modified for individual shipments from the Shipment Properties (a.k.a. Shipment Summary) screen.
