Divert in-transit loads in Transportation Smartbench
Use this page to modify the destination of one or more shipment legs and rate assigned to the load.
The following sections are displayed in this page:
Amount: Displays rate and spot rate of the load.
Options: Displays information about the resource constraints and scheduling of the load.
Shipment Legs: Displays the list of shipment legs assigned to the load in an editable grid. On the grid, you can modify the destination location type and ID for the shipment legs that are eligible for location change.
Note: When the following events occur, the voucher for a load or trip is reversed if the voucher remains eligible and the user is authorized to trigger the voucher reversal:
The load is diverted or a spot rate is updated or deleted
A voucher has already been generated for the load or the corresponding trip
Vouchers are not regenerated by any of the operations that can be performed from this page. It is expected that vouchers are recreated based on scheduled jobs.
Operations
Delete Spot Rate: Deletes spot rate of the load. The existing rate of the load becomes invalid. If a voucher is already generated for the load, the voucher is reversed.
Update Spot Rate: Creates spot rate for the load. This is not applicable for loads assigned to a trip.
Notes:
You cannot select a tariff or service. Transportation Manager uses tariff or service that is assigned when tendered.
Rating does not need to be successful.
Submit: Saves all row-level changes to the database, diverts the load, and runs the RR&S process.
Reset: Reverts all unsaved row-level changes to their original value.
