An Equipment Type Cross Reference may only be set up for a tariff charge that corresponds to a Master Charge enabled for as an Equipment Specific Charge.
This allows you to identify any equipment type for this tariff charge that must be rated by referring to the rates set up for a different equipment type.
Equipment Type Cross Reference can be defined for tractor or trailer equipment.
The Equipment Type ID and Rate As Equipment Type ID combo boxes are populated based on both the equipment category and equipment configuration for the applicable tariff service. For a tractor specific master charge, the combo boxes include equipment types enabled for the corresponding tariff service where equipment category is "Tractor" or "Tractor/Trailer". For a trailer specific charge, the combo boxes include equipment types enabled for the corresponding tariff service where equipment category is "Undefined", "Trailer" or "Tractor/Trailer".
