Overview

When defining a Reference Number for a transactional entity (either operational or financial) a Reference Number Qualifier is used.

Use this screen to choose a Reference Number Type and to define the entity types to which this Reference Number Qualifier applies. Depending on the entity types, multiple levels of entities can be specified.

For example: If the Reference Number Type is Bill of Lading Number, the first entity type is the carrier, the second will be tariff and the third will be service.
