Overview

This process is used to assign the Carrier's Tender Contact Name and all related Carrier's Tender Contact Information for a load, trip, or booking. An attempt is made to retrieve contact information for the applicable domicile. If Tender Contacts are not defined at this level, contact information for the tariff/service or carrier is used.

This process is invoked in several different situations:

• When the user accesses the Tender Contacts page: This process is triggered only when Carrier's Tender Contact Information does not already exist (assuming the load, trip, or booking is still in a status where it would be legal to edit this information).
• When load advances to Tendered status: This process will be invoked when the Carrier's Tender Contact information has not already been assigned to the load, or when the carrier is modified during the tender process.
• When the "Refresh" icon is triggered for Carrier's Tender Contact from the Tender Contacts page: When invoked using the "Refresh" icon, all existing Carrier's Tender Contact information will be cleared.

The Carrier Tender Contact assigned to the load is used when sending tenders to the carrier. It is also used for filtering and retrieval.

For trips, Carrier Tender Contact info will be established for the first load on the trip.

For bookings, the same tender contact information will apply to each load on the booking. This information will be read-only when accessed for a load on a booking or for a load eligible to be assigned to a booking.
