Remove load from a trip

Trips will be eligible for the Remove Load from Trip operation when:

• Financial status for the trip is Ineligible or Voucher Pending.
• Operational status for the trip is not Canceled.
• Re-planning is not currently active for the trip.
• Removal of load would not violate the integrity of equipment types for consecutive loads on the trip. The trailer equipment types for consecutive loads on a trip can differ only if the affected locations permit drop and hook scenarios.

Any load on the trip's itinerary can be removed.

When a request is made to remove the penultimate load from the trip, the last remaining load will also be removed and the trip will be canceled.

Cancel tender will be performed for any load in Tendered or Tender Accepted status that is removed from a trip. If the trip is being canceled as a result of this operation (exactly two loads were attached to the trip before the Remove Load from Trip operation) and the other load on the trip is in Tendered or Tender Accepted status, cancel tender will also be performed for the other load.

Routing/rating/scheduling results will be destroyed both for the trip and for the load being removed from the trip.
