System Level Tolerance Check

This check compares the Arrival or Departure date/time supplied to the current system date/time.

• Performed only if Enabled via Global Settings - Controls
• Uses the System Level Tolerances defined in Global Settings (Positive / Negative, expressed in terms of Hours)

If the Arrival or Departure date/time fails this tolerance check, the requested status update will not be allowed.

Note: Since Arrival or Departure date/time will be in local time (based on Stop Location), conversions necessitated by time zone considerations will be performed before comparing this value to current system date/time.

Reason Code must be specified for reporting each of these events (Pickup Arrival, Pickup Departure, Delivery Arrival, Delivery Departure).

The list of Reason Codes from which the user may choose will differ based on the event being generated and the status of the associated entity. This list may also vary based on the user generating the event (the availability of a Reason Code can be restricted by User Group Type).
